Winter season concludes with Parker, Foxon and Pande taking trophies!

The winter season has concluded with three different players taking home silverware, with the County Cup still to be fought for.

it was a dominant season for Jamie Parker in Division One, taking victories in every game to ensure winning his maiden title. The unbeaten season saw the title wrapped up with a game to spare, as Joe Foxon repeated his runners up position from the previous year. David Armstrong and Steve Parker also made the top 4 playoff spots, whilst it was Jon Wilson who finished bottom of the table and will be relegated to Division Two.

In Division Two, it was a strong season for the returning Ankit Pande, as the former Division One player only lost one game en route to a comfortable league victory, and promotion to Division One for next season. Strong showings for league debutants Saf Fairweather and Cameron Murry gave them respectable top 3 finishes as well.

In the playoffs, Parker could not make it 3 playoff titles in a row, as Joe Foxon defeated him 3-1 in the final to add his first silverware of the campaign. Both players had recorded 3-0 victories in the semi-finals before Joe was able to keep his composure to add his name to the plaque for this season.

The cup is still to be played for, as Parker, Foxon, Matt Thomas and Morgan Buda are left to battle it out for the final silverware of the season.

We look forward to welcoming a influx of players for the summer league 2023 – and the formation of a brand new division to cope with increased demand – and cannot wait to see you all on the table.
