Notts bring home trophy from York

Saturday 25th August saw the AEBBA Challenger Championship head to York.

Notts took a strong contingent, with 8 of our own players forming part of the 44-strong field. Whilst everyone played well and made a strong showing, it was David Armstrong who was the star of the show. He made it through to the plate final, seeing off strong competition, before just falling short in the final. This represents Notts’ second trophy at a AEBBA event, after Matt Thomas won the plate competition in 2019, and having the second highest player count of any county was a very good effort.

There are many more events that we are able to enter, as AEBBA-affiliated players – come and have a go! They are a great weekend and laugh.
