The Division Three cup took place at The Newshouse on Sunday 21st January.

Jake Land secured the trophy, clinching the final on the last ball after a back and forth battle with Rob Wilson. Both players will receive spots in Division Two for making it to the final.

Karen Wilson defeated Matt Carlin in the upset of the night in the first game with a hard-fought deserved win, whilst Jake, Rob and Sam Davies registered victories over Chantelle Thompson, Ben Groves and Richard Johnston Jones respectively all in close contests.

Rob then beat Karen in a one-sided affair in the first semi final, before Jake took a narrow victory over Sam to set up the decider with Rob.

It was a cracking day of bar billiards, with both old and new faces making it a great competition. Divisions Two and Three are sure to have some battles this season! Speaking of the new season, the website shall be reset shortly to get the new league ready – to begin on Monday, 29th January!
