League season concluded

The 2019/20 league season has been brought to a close, following a lengthy suspension due to Covid-19. The committee decided to end the season, applying the results from the first round of matches to complete the schedule, which now allows the play-offs to take place this Sunday.

The start date of the new season is yet to be confirmed, but has been tentatively pencilled in as January 2021, with Division 2 winner Dale Prime moving up to Division 1 next season, replacing Paul Spicer who was relegated.

The committee also agreed to allow players a one-season holiday, whereby they can retain their division when they return to playing, however, an absence of more than one season will mean a player has to start again from the lowest division.
